The dubbed Gen3 car will be lighter, smalle♋r and more powerful than Formula E’s current Gen2 machinery which was introduced for the 2018-2019 season. 

Formula E’s latest all-electric car was presented to manufa🉐cturers, teams, drivers and partners on Monday in Valencia, where pre-season testing is taking place for the upcoming season, which begins in January. 

Formula Eꦉ claims Gen3 will be “the world’s most efficient racing car”, with at least 40% of the energy used within a race distance being produced by regenerative braking. 

Gen3 will also feature a new 250Kw front poweꦓrtrain to take the overall total power output to a total of 600Kw, more𒆙 than double the current regenerative capability of the Gen2. 

A 350Kw motor🌠 will take the top speed of the Gen3 to m💧ore than 320kph (200mph). 

Form🍒ula E says the smaller dimensio𝓰ns of the Gen3 will enable “faster, more agile wheel-to-wheel racing” around the championship’s unique street circuits. 

“The Gen3 is our fastest,☂ lightest, most powerful and efficient racing car yet. It is a creature designed for its habitat: racing on city streets in wheel-to-wheel combat,” said Formula E CEO Jami𓆉e Reigle.

Gen3 will be the first formula car aligned to ‘Life Cycle Thinking’ with “ꦗa clear path towards second life ﷽and end of life for all tyres, broken parts and battery cells.” 

FIA president Jean Todt added: “The new Gen3 Formula E single-seater is a car created at the intersection of high performance, efficiency and sustainability.&nbওsp;

“The work accomplished by the FIA’s teams together with Formula E, since the launch of the discipline eight seasons ago, tireless𓂃ly seek to drive innovation and further the de൲velopment of sustainable mobility.
