Armstrong fastest on final day of Bahrain Formula 2 test

Marcus Armstrong set the fastest time of 🧸the day as Formula 2 testing came to an end in Bahrain.
Like on day two, teams focused on qualifying simulations in the morning session before turning their attention to the race simulations in the after♌noon.
The DAMS driver took to the top of the timesheets just over 30 minutes into the mor𓆏ning session, setting a 1m42.173s.
Armstrong’s lap time st🐈ill remained 0.4s shy of Christian Lundgaard’s impressive benchmark from yesterday.
The difference in times from the morning to the afternoon was vast as Ralph Boschung topped the afternoon session with a 💦1m44.905s, 2.7s off the pace set by Armstrong in the morning.
Liam Lawson was just 0.045s shy of Armstrong in the lead Hitech GP car, just ahead of ꦛteammate Juri Vꦉips.
Lawson completed only 13 laps in the mornin♒g and a further 23 in the afternoon - the fewest of any driver on day three✃.
Guanyu Zhou was the lead Virtuosi Racing and within a tenth of Armstrong in fourth, while Lirim Zendeli ♚compl🤪eted the top five for MP Motorsport.
Robert 🍷Shwartzman completed 57 lꦕaps across the two sessions on his way to the sixth fastest time of the day in the Prema.
Boschung was fastest in the afternoon for Campos but was only 💝seventh in the qualifying simulations.
Richard Verschoor, Oscar Pi💧astri and Felipe Drugovich com𝓰pleted the top ten.
