Günther: 2018 plans 'totally open' amid push for F2, Super Formula
Mercedes-linked junior Maximilian Günther says his plans for 2018 remain "totally open" as he weighs up options in both Formula 2 and Super Fo♑rmula.
Günther, 20, finished as runne𓆏r-up to Williams Formula 1 driver Lance Stroll in the FIA European Formula 3 Championship in 2016 before taking thi🃏rd in the standings last year, trailing Lando Norris and Joel Eriksson.

Günther, 20, finished as runner-up to Williams Formula 1 d🔯river Lance Stroll in the FIA European Formula 3 Championship in 2016 before taking third in the standings last year, trailing Lando Norris and Joel Eriksson.
Günther will graduate from F3 in 2018, and has tested both DTM and Formula E during the off-se꧟ason, but is hopeful of landing a single-seater drive in either F2 or the Japanese Super Formula series to continue his push towards F1.
"Formula 2 is an option, but the moment it’s not decided yet. I will step up from Formula 3, that’s for sure," Günther tol♋d ltxcn.top.
"The options are for example F2, Supe✱r Formula. For sure I’m interested in Formula E as well, but the season has already started. ꦛSome other options, but that’s mainly it."
Asked if F2 would be the more compeꦑtitive series to race in, Günther said: "To be honest, it depends on the manufacturer.
"It’s noꦯt only about me which is deciding. I think of all the series I am looking at, they are ꦏall really competitive.
🐠"I’m looking forward to the challenge I get this year, but there’s nothing to tell at the moment.
