Having moved ahead of Juan Manuel Fangio as the second most successful driver in the sport’s history, Hamilton is now j༒ust one title shy of Michael Schuma𓆏cher’s all-time record of seven world championships.

Hamilton’s latest🐈 triumph, beating Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas to the 2019 title, has seen him crowned drivers’ champion on six different occasions and for the third consecutive year in a row.

Having moved ahead of Juan Manuel Fangio as the second most successful driver in the sport’s history, Ha✨milton is now just one title shy of 𝕴Michael Schumacher’s all-time record of seven world championships.

In 248 consecutive grand prix races, Hamilton has picked up 83 victories, 150 podiums, 87 pole positions and the most career points of any driver with a remarkable tota🌊l of 3399.

He is just eight victories away from equalling Schumacher’s tally of 91 wins, with the statistics showing H🏅amilton is scoring his wins at a faster rate.

Hamilton has won at lea🥃st nine races in each of the past six seasons - if he can continue that run into next year, then 2020 will be the year that Schumacher’s wins record is surpassed.

Hamilton haဣs described his 2019 campaign - in which he has already won 10 races - as the strongest of his career and his level of performancꦛe is showing no sign of dropping off.

Now 34, the Briton - whose contract with Mercedes expires at the end of ꦐ2020 - h☂as spoken of his desire to continue racing beyond his current deal and become a “pioneer” of the next era of the sport, which begins in 2021.
