The Dutchman made his full-time F1 bow d𓄧uring the 2023 season after signing with AlphaTauri, as a replacement for Alpine-bound Pierr𝓰e Gasly.

After a difficult start to life at AlphaTauri, de Vries became the latest victim of Red Bull's ruthless regime, having been replaced by Daniel Riccia൲rdo just 10 races in to his rookie season.

De Vries became a hot commodity when, at short-notice at the 2022 Italian Grand Pr𒀰ix, he raced for Williams due to Alex Albon's unavailability. De Vries♛ out-qualified and out-raced regular Williams driver Nicholas Latifi and earned rave reviews throughout the paddock.

He is an F2 and Formula E champion.

De Vries was also a test driver for Mercedes.
