Nikita Mazepin ruled out of Abu Dhabi F1 finale after positive COVID-19 test

Ahead of Sunday’s 2021 finale i♉n Abu Dhabi, Haas announced the Russian had tested positive for COVID-19, ruling him out of the 22nd and last race of his rookie campaign.
Haas said Mazepin is “physically well” and asymptomatic but will now have to adhere to the local health guidelines a🥃nd undergo a period of self-isolation, preventing him from takin♎g part in Sunday’s grand prix.
Mazepin wi🍒ll n🦩ot be replaced by Haas test and reserve Pietro Fittipaldi.
Article 31.1 of the 2021 FIA F1 sporting regulations prohibits “any driver from starting the race who has not taken p🌸art in at least one practice session”.
That means Haas will field just a single ca൲r for the final race of the season, with Mick Schumacher lining up from 19th on the grid.ꦐ
