The Yas Marina Circuit made its debut on the F1 calendar in 2009 as a twilight race - starting in the dusk, finishing in the ni🔯ght.  

The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will ꦍhost its fourth 𒉰title decider - after 2010, 2014 and 2016 - this weekend between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton.

Over the years, the racing in Abu Dhabi has been subdued which has led to signifiܫcant track modifications to aid overtaking.

The changes include the removal of the Turn 5/6 chicane and the subsequent hairpin being opened up and brought forward, while Turns 11-14 have b꧂een converted into a 180 degree banked corner.

Changes have also been made tꦯo the hotel section, with the corners being opened up significantly to make it faster and more flowing.

Speaking of the announcement, F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali said: “We are delighted to confirm that we will be racing in Abu Dhabi until 2030 under this new agreement. We are hugely looking forward to the seaಌson finale this weekend when more Formula 1 history will be made.
