Aston Martin strengthens F1 technical team with second Red Bull signing

The news comes just a week after it was revealed that Red Bull’s head of aerodynamics Dan Fallows would be joining Aston Martin w꧟hen his contract runs out.
Alessi joins the Silverstone-based outfit as head of technical operations where “he will lead, manage and develop the desigꦐn, planning, production and operations of the team's aerodynamics department, comm🐟encing today, July 1st”.
As Aston Martin looks to make the most of the major technical overhaul in🔴 2022, team boss Otmar Szafnauer previously confirmed that there would be ⛎further signings.
Speaking of today’s🥀 announcement, Szafnauer said: "Two weeks ago we announced the hiring of Luca Furbatto as our new engineering director, who will start work for us in🍃 due course.
"Last week Dan Fallows' forthcoming arrival as our new technical director was also made public. Today, Andrew Alessi is added to the impressive list of our senior technical/engineering hirings, as head of technical operations.ဣ Ours is a great team, and it always has been.
"Many times this year we have said: 'This team has always punched above its weight; now it has the weight with which to punch harder. That is absolutely true – and expert and experienced new arrivals such as Luca, Dan and now Andrew represent proof that we are buildi🌠ng the technical/engineering strength in depth that we need in order to deliver that harder punch."
Alessi hopes h🍸is expertise propels Aston Martin into a position where it can "win consistently in the future𒐪".
