“We need a win” - Ocon outlines Alpine's ambitions for F1 2021

Esteban Ocon hopes Alpine can build on the success it enjoyed in 20♔20 as it looks to build on its 𓆏fifth place finish in the Formula 1 constructors' championship.
2021 marks a new era for theꦿ Enstone-based outfit with Renault being rebranded as Alpine.
The changes don't stop๊ there with Fernando Alonso returning to Enstone in place of Daniel Ricciardo, while ex-Suzuki MotoGP boss Davide Brivio is🐈 Alpine's new racing director.
Under the 🐟Renault guise, the team scor🦄ed three podiums on its way to fifth in the constructors' championship.
Following the la꧋unch of the A521, Ocon outlined his and the team'sꦫ ambitions for the season ahead.
“Yeah that’s fantastic,” Ocon said when reflecting on the team's 2020 results. “Best place for sure, finish fourth [fifth💛] for the team means a lot, means we are improving, the car is getting faster, our understanding is getting better, and the joy of the team was there after the race.
ܫ“I hope we can repeat it, to get the best result for the team, we need a win – that’s another task. We’ll push to do our best and try and get more podiums bu﷽t for now let’s see how the car feels.”
Ocon added: “We definitiely want to have more of those feelings, that’s for sure. We had three podiums last year🥀, that were good, solid podium finishes for the team, and of course we want mor♏e of those again, to taste that feeling, but until we put the car down, in Bahrain, we’re not going to know where we stand exactly, so that’s the question.”
Oco👍n will get his first extended run out in the A521 when pre-season testing in Bahrain gets underway on Friday.&nb𝄹sp;
