Norris ready for final triple-header push as 2020 F1 season nears end

Lando Norris is chasing a reverse of fortunes as he prepares for this weekend’s Bahrain Grand Prix, the first of three races that will bring the 2020 Formula 1 Woꦦrld Championship to its conclusion.
In a season that has seen🅷 the front-to-mid-pack battle come alive with four teams in close contention for third in the constructors’ standings behind Mercedes and Red Bull, McLaren is within touching distance of its best overall finish in eight years.
As it stands, Racing Point currently holds the position but McLaren breathes down its neck in fourth ☂just five points shy of its rivals, while Renault and Ferrari have made advances in recent races thanks to theiꦿr respective returns to the podium.
For Norris, his fo🧜rm has fluctuated recently with a pair of eꦍighth place finishes following a run of three non-scores that have dropped back to eighth overall.
However, he’s feeling bullish about the up🎉coming trio of races, two of which will be held on different configurations of the Bahrain Sakhir circuit, before Abu Dhabi ꦰconcludes the season at Yas Marina.
“We’re ending the season just like we started it with one final triple-header, and I can’t wait get back into the rhythm of racing back-to-back again. It’s definitely going to be a tough challenge as we haven’t had a triple-header ꦗin a while, but we’re going t🅠o give it everything.
“Turkey showed that we’re st൩ill in the fight and anything can h🦄appen. We just need to make every session count and most of all focus on ourselves.
“The circuit in Bahrain usually makes for some good wheel-to-wheel racing with plenty of chances to overtake, especially with the three DRS zones. Looking back at last year, Bahrain was one of my best races and it’s where I scored my first points in Formula 1.&n🧜bsp;
“Hopefully we can continue to score some importan🐎t points this weekend and kick off the triple-header strong.”
