Romain Grosjean says he has been having sleepless nights after finding out he had lost his Haas drive for🏅 the 2021 Formula 1 season.

Grosjean and teammate Kevin Magnussen lost their seats after Haas decided to replace both drivers fo🧸r next year, meaning both drivers are likely to spend a year out of F1 with a ♍lack of available spaces on the grid for next year.

Speaking at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, Grosjean acknowledged it was not a good time to find himself ou꧑t of a job given the current global situation amid the coronavirus pandemic.

"If I am brutally honest I haven't been sleeping well for the last two weeksꦡ,” Grosjean s🧸aid.

"I🎀t is a tough year for the world, for the economy. It is not a good year to be out of contract and out of the s🅺port in any way.”

The Frenchman is understood to have taken part in a ౠrecent test with Formula E outfit Mahindra, while he has also expressed an interest in a potential ꧙switch to IndyCar.

"I have been looking at IndyCar,” Grosjean said. “I have had some contact and some good ones🌠.

"I kind of regret that I didn't check the calendar earlier. There a🌳re only two ovals, one short track. But it is something I would consider.

"I spoke with Marcus Ericsson when he went there 🅷and he really liked the differe🌜nt styles. The drivers have a big role to play and the car was fun and everyone has got a chance to win the race.

"Probably now I want to win races and ๊have a chance, and win races where I can have fun, so IndyCar is on th꧋e list.”
