After a dramatic British Grand Prix, Formula 1 is back at&n🌄bsp;Silverstone for the 70th Anniversary Grand Prixꩲ.
It will be held as a 70-year commemoration r🌃ace of the Formula One World Championship at the same circuit which 𓆏hosted the first race back in 1950.
This is the seco🔯nd back-to-back race of 2020 with the Red Bull Ring playing host to the Austrian and Styrian Grands Prix at the start of the season.
It’s expected to be business as normal with Mercedes leading at the front, but with soft✤er tyres and warmer temperatures, the likes of Red Bull might be able to close the gap at the front.
Nico Hulkenberg will once again be in the Racing Point in place of Sergio Perez, who continue💮s to recover from COVID-19.
Last time out
It was a dramatic end to last weekend’s British Grand Prix with eventual race winner Lewis Hamilton picking up a punctur🌳e on the final lap.
The Briton hꦉad to nurse his stricken Mercedes home with just three tyres as h꧋e stormed to his seventh career victory at the British Grand Prix.
Valtteri Bottas&♒nbsp;and Carlos Sainz were the other two drivers to suffer punctures in the latter stages, with the pair failing to finish inside the top ten.
Max Verstappen narrowly missꦜed out on his first win of the season, claiming yet another podium ahead of the ever-impressive Charles Leclerc.
Daniel Ricciardo recorded his best result for Renault in fourth, ahead of Lando Norris, Esteban Ocon, Pierre Gasly, ꩲAlexander Albon, Lan🌊ce Stroll and Sebastian Vettel.
What to expect from this weekend?
Hamilton and Mercedes will be the team to beat but t𝐆emperatures across the whole weekend are expected to be above 30 degrees Celsius.
Tyres will once again be a major talking point after the late tyre failure🏅s in the British Grand Prix.
Pirelli has gone a step softer this weekend ⛄with it bringing the C2, C3 and C4 tyres, rather than the C1, C2 and C3 as it did last time ꦡout.
