Ferrari team boss Mattia Binotto insists that sacking people is not the solution required to help turn around it෴s fortunes in Formul൩a 1.

Ferrari has endured a poor start to the 2020 season and has man🌜aged just 🧸one podium finish from the opening three rounds of the delayed campaign in Austria and Hungary.

The Italian outfit’s SF1000 challenger has been well off the pace of its rivals and Ferrari appears to have slipped into th🃏e midfield fight on outright performance.

As a result, reports in Italian media have suggested that Binotto🍷’s position could be at risk, along with other senior staff members who were instrumental in the design of this year’s car.

But s😼peaking after the Hungarian Grand Prix, Binotto responded to what he described as “amusing stories” by stressing that an overhaul of team personnel is not the way forward for his team.

"I have confidence in the people who work in the Gestione Sportiva: we have started out on a long process that should lead to another winning cycle," Binotജto explained.

"It will take a while, but the whole company unders🎐tands and supports this v🐻ision. That's why I find it amusing to read some stories that are doing the rounds: it's not by sacking people that you make a car go faster…"

"After three races, it's clea💫ꦯr that we are in worse shape than we expected and we need to react without delay," he explained.

"The entire car project has to be revised, while taking into consideration the limits currently impos♛ed by the regulations.

♊"I am well aware there is no mag🌸ic wand in Formula 1, but we have to step up a gear to turn things around, both in the short and the long term.

"It might also be necessary to look at our organiꦏsation to improve and strengthen ou🐓r working methods where the need is greatest.

"But first, as a team, we need to understand t💙he dynamic that led to this situation."
