Red Bull's Max Verstappen to join Supercars Eseries grid as wildcard
Red Bull Formula 💦1 driver Max Verstappen will make a wildcard appearance in t🥀he Supercars All Stars Eseries.
The Dutchman will race in a Red Bull liveri📖ed V8 Holden Commodore Supercar in the second round of the Australian championship’s virtual series, with two races taking place on Wednesday night.
The Supercars Eseries features F1 circuits familia✨r to Verstappen including Spanish Grand Prix venue Barcelona and Silverstone, the💫 home of the British Grand Prix.

The Dutchman will race in a R🃏ed Bull liveried V8 Holden Commodore Supercar in the second round of the Australian championship’s virtual series, with two races taking place on Wednesday night.
The Supercars Eseries features F1 circuits familiar to Verstappen including Spanish Grand Prix venue Barcelona and Silverstone, the home of t🐼he Britishꦏ Grand Prix.
“I’m looking forward꧂ to the race,” Verstapp🌠en said.
“It’s going to be a challenge as it’s not a car I’ve driven a lot on the sim, but they are pretty cool to watch in real life. We always race with Supercars in Melbourne so it’s going to be interesting to see how I get on againstꦦ all the regular drivers.
“🔥I’ve tried the Supercar no𝓰w a few times on iRacing and it’s a very tricky car to get right,” he added.
“I’m looking forward to racing aꦬlongside my mate Shane, or Pastor, as I call him – he’s a top shunter on the꧒ sim! (laughs).
“We race online a lot together so hopefully we can do well for Red Bull and iไt should be a bit oജf fun racing against the other V8 drivers as well.”
Verst𓃲appen has experience in a Red Bull Holden having been driven around Albert Park by seven-time Supercars champion Jamie Whincup ahead of the 2019 Australian Grand Prix.
Despite being a regular simracer, part𝓡icularly in iRacing competitions, Verstappen has refused to participate in F1’s Virtual Grand Prix series which is taking place amid the hiatus to real-world racing due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
