The Bahrain Virtual Grand Prix saw the likes of Lando Norris and Nicholas Latifi take on special guests including golf legend Ian Poulte🎶r and music star Liam Payne, with old heroes like Johnny Her🍰bert and Anthony Davidson also getting behind the electronic steering wheel.

In the absence of very few alternatives, F1 enjoyed viewer numbers it us🐈ually only reaches during races.

1.5 million views from live and playback watches on the Bahrain Virtual Grand Prix through F1’s YouTube channel alone, plus the five-minute highlights video gaininಞg 640,000 views inside 24 hours of being published.

It opens the door𝕴 even wider on a market F1 is seeking to dive into, while also offering a new opportunity for all involved to make the most of Esports in the absence of real racing.
