Max Verstappen believes Red Bull can improve its 2020 Formula 1 car “everywhere” heading into the new seaso✤n.

Red Bull enjo✃yed a strong pre-season test at Barcelona and hopes to mount a sustained title bid against Mercedes and Ferrari in its second year of its engine partnership with Honda, having claimed three victories in 2019.

But while the Milton Keynes squ💦ad has high hopes for the new campaign, Verstappen insists there are still improvements to 🌼be made with its RB16 challenger.

Asked which areas Red Bull can improve with its latest F1 car, Verstappen replied:🥀 “Everywhere. It’s not perfect.

“I think throughout last year already 💫we got all the time better and better, it’s just a continuous process we are going through and it feels good.

“I think we really work well together so we try to make th๊e best of it this year.

"🦂We just have to trust ourselves,” he ad🌠ded. “I think there are a lot of things we can do better, that’s always the stand that we have to have, that it’s never good enough.

“We just have to keep pushing forwards from our side and we’ll see where we💖 end up.”

Verstappen said he did notꦦ want to get bogged down and “waste energy” trying𒉰 to make predictions about the competitive order on the eve of the season-opening Australian Grand Prix.

“It’s really difficult to know exactly wh✱ere you are so it’s better🥀 not to speculate and just wait and see,” he explained.

“I don’t think it’s fun, I prefer to wait and see and see the real outc𝓀ome. You can talk about it a lot but for me personally, that’s just a waste of energy.

"I prefer to spend my energy on other things when🌌 I am at home rather than thinking where I possibly may be in Melbourne.

“It’s better to just focus on what we ca🍒n improve on the car rather than what other people might do. That’s ho🔯w I try to approach it.”
