Lewis Hamilton is giving no th♛ought to retiring from Formula 1 anytime soon, saying there is "more to do" and "more to win" with Mercedes.

Hamilton, 34, clinched his fifth F1 world championship in 2018 and is well on his way to sﷺecuring a sixth title this year, having won eight of the opening 12 races of the season to open up a 62-point ཧlead at the top of the drivers' standings.

Hamilt💦on is the third-oldest driver on the grid, only younger than Kimi Raikkonen and Robert Kubic🉐a, and has been clear about his desire to explore other ventures such as fashion and music once his F1 career is over.

The Briton's current Mercedes contract expi𒅌res at the end of the 2020 season, but he explained after winning the Hungarian Grand Prix earlier 🍌this month that calling it quits was not on his mind.

"I’ve watched different sports, and I see people that I’ve grown up watchinꦜg who have stopped and moved onto something else," Hamilton said.

"Obviously I’m in a sport where I am one of the older drivers, so I have this different perspective. Naturally being 22 to being 34 is a much different perspective, but it’s been a pheඣnomenal journey.

"I was just s♕aying to my guys now we had our first win here [ℱin Hungary] together in 2013. We’ve just been going from strength to strength, majority of people are still the same people from when I joined the team, and this long long journey we’ve got on together has been remarkable.

"Right now I’m ex💎cited to see what more we can do together and what’s next. I honestly don’t know why some people decide to stop at the times they decide to stop, but I tell you I love driving. I really really love the challenge and arriving each weekend and digging into the data and trying to pull [up the team]. I just love that rapport you have with this group of people.

"One day I will have to stop, but right now, I feel fantastic physically, generally, and mentally thi♉s year. So I currently don’t have any plans on stopping any time soon.

"There’s more to do, there’s more to win, there’s more to achieve to✅gether, inside and outside of the car, within the sport and outside of the sport."
