Fernando Alonso to make McLaren F1 test return in Bahrain

Fernando Alonso will make his Formula 1 testing return with McLaren in Bahrain next wee𝕴k after being confir💎med for one-and-a-half days of running in the team's MCL34 car.

Alonso retired from F1 at the end of last season in order to focus on other racing interests, but has remained part of the McLaren family and🌠 is will race for the team at the Indianapolis 500 in May.

Fern𝐆ando Alonso will make his Formula 1 testing return with McLaren in Bahrain next week after being confirmed for one-ꦕand-a-half days of running in the team's MCL34 car.

Alonso retired from F1 at the end of last season in order to focus on other racing interests, but𝔍 has remained part of the McLaren family and is will race for the t💙eam at the Indianapolis 500 in May.

Alons๊o has long-stated his wish to keep the🍨 door to F1 open, with McLaren confirming last month that the two-time world champion would be testing its 2019 car at some stage this season, as well as playing a role in the development of its 2020 car.

McLaren confirmed on Thursday that Alonso𒁏's F1 testing return would come in Bahrain next w🍌eek, when he completes one-and-a-half days of Pirelli tyre test running on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Alon🔯so will complete a full day behind the wheel of the MCL34 car on Tuesday before splitting duties with Carlos Sainz Jr. on Wednesday, heading out for the afternoon♔ session.

Full-time drivers Sainz and Lando Norris will share regular test ꦅrunning in Bahrain, doing half a day each on Tuesday before Norris does the full complement of running on Wednesday.
