Mick Schumacher: Following the greatest F1 racer ever ‘difficult’

Mick Schumacher says there are both “good and bad sides” to following in theꩵ footsteps of his seven-times Formula 1 world champion father Michael. 

Schumacher recently became a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy having claimed his first single-seater titᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚle in last year’s European Formula 3 Championship.

Mick Schumacher says there are both “good and bad sides” to following in the f❀ootsteps of his seven-times Formula 1 world champion father Michael. 

Schumacher recently became a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy having claimed hi𒅌s first single-seat🧸er title in last year’s European Formula 3 Championship. 

In an interview with the FIA’s Auto magazine, th🍸e 19-year-old spoke of the admiration he has for his father, who holds the all-time record for the most drivers’ world championship titles,⛦ winning seven during spells at Benetton and Ferrari between 1994 and 2004.

“I am happy to be the son of the ဣgreatest F1 racer of all time,” 🐎said Schumacher. 

“I’m happy that he is the greatest F1 racer of all time, and I admire him for that. 🌄And even if sometimes it can be a bit difficult, it is what it is. There are good sides to it and there are bad sides.

“Having🅷 the support I have from a lot of peop🍬le all over the world can’t be a bad thing. I am thankful for that.”

Schumacher will step up to compete in Formula 2 in 2019 with leading sing𒀰le-seater outfit Prema as he continues his bid to reach F1.

Schumacher responds to fake social media images  

Schumacher took to social media to confirm that the widespread circulation of pictures supposedly showing Michael💧 with his son and daughter when they were younger are fake.&nb𝔉sp;

“These photos are often published because they supposedly show me as a child with my father. To clarify: these pictures here do not show me, and neither do they show Gina♏," he wrote in a . 

"I'm sorry for the people in these phot🌟os. I can only appeal to all media to remove them from their archives."

Michael Schumacher has not been seen in public since he suf꧋fered severe head injuries in a s𝓡kiing accident in December 2013. 

As part of celebrations for the German’s 5🃏0th birthday in January, Ferrari unveiled a special exhibition in Italy dedicated to Schumacher’s ra🐷cing career. Mick visited the museum last week and shared images of his trip on social media.
