Ocon had spun race leader Verstappen while trying to unlap himself, costing the Red Bull racer a potential race victory as Lewis Hamilton grabbed his 10th win of the year in Brazil. The incident saw Ocon receive a 10-secon💖d stop/go penalty during the race and three penalty points on his FIA super license.

Verstappen and Ocon have both been referred to the stewards over a breach of the FIA International Sporting Code, "act prejudicial to the i﷽nterests of any Competition or to the interests of motor sport generally" and for "𒊎physical contact with another competitor".

Both drivers w📖ill see the🌳 stewards at 1815 local time (2015 GMT).
