Norris gets two days of McLaren F1 test running after Spanish GP

Lando Norris will r🌃eturn to the cockpit of a Formula 1 car later this month after being confirmed by McLaren for the in-season test at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya following the Spanish Grand Prix.

Norris is McLaren's designated res♋erve driver in F1 this year, but is also racing in Formula 2, where he leads the championship after four races following victory in the season-opening Bahrain round.

Lando Norris will return to the cockpit of a Formula 1 car later this month after being confirmed by McLaren for the in-season te🌜st at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya following the Spanish Grand Prix.

Norris is McLaren's designated reserve driver in F1 this year, but is also racing i🗹n Formula 2, where he leads the championship after four races following victory in the season-opening Bahrain round.

Norris last drove for McLaren at the post-seaℱson test in Abu ♎Dhabi last November, but will get his first taste of the 2018 MCL33 car on the opening day of testing in Barcelona on May 15.

Norris will spend the first d𒆙ay of testing conducting running for Pirelli, with the test being one of McLaren's designated tyre development outings, allowing the team to run two cars. He is then set to spend the second day conducting McLaren's usual test work.

Stoffel Vandoorne will feature on the opening day of the test for McLaren before handing over to Norris, who in tu💦rn will pass the Pirelli development work to Oliver Turvey for the second day of running.
