F1 US GP: Raikkonen: No different for Ferrari today
Kimi Raikkonen is assured nothing has hugely change for Ferrari after Friday practice ahead of the ꧙United States Grand Prix after ending FP2 sixth fastest.
The Finnish driver enjoyed a fairly uneve♏ntful day despite finishing almost a full second off of timesheet topper Lewis Hꦛamilton but the Ferrari driver feels it is no sign to be concerned about the team’s pace at the Circuit of the Americas.

The Finnish driver enjꦚoyed a fairly uneventful day despite finishing almost a full second off of timesheet topper Lewis Hamilton but the Ferrar🉐i driver feels it is no sign to be concerned about the team’s pace at the Circuit of the Americas.
Raikkonen, who was victim of reliability woes in Malaysia and despite a gearbox penalty in Japan demonstrated impressive race pace, is confident Ferrari can bring home a result after a difficult run of races and explains nothing has changed in his approac🐈h to the race weekend compared to the rest o🍸f 2017.
“It was normal and it can always be better but it’s only Friday, we’ll see tomorrow,” Raikkonen said. “It’s too early to tell but I don’t think there was anything specific, it’s a🌠lways going to be tricky everywhere we go. It’s no different for us today.
“I don’t know what the othe♐rs are doing. It was an okay day but it was a normal Friday and we will try to do our best for tomorrow. We just got to put it into the right place and take it from there.”
Raikkonen is🏅 enduring the current longest stretch without a podium of the top six drivers having finished second at the Hungarian Grand Prix back in July.
