Felipe Massa has branded the Hungarian Grand Prixꦜ the 'worst race' of his whole career, echoing the comments he said on Sunday immediately following the event, when he noted it was just a 'horrible' race.

Massa had a nightmare event on Sunday after re-fuelling problems in qualifying left him well down the grid ahead of the eleventh round in the 2007 FIA🐬 Formula 1 World Championship.

In the end he made little progress in the race, finishing 13th overall after starting from 14th and with his team-mate, Kimi Raikkonen finishing second, just behind race winner, Lewis Hamilton, he was extremely disappointed not to haveౠ done better wiꦯth his Ferrari F2007.

"Looking back at Hungary, it was definitౠely a frustrating race for me, in fact I can go further ♒and say it was actually the worst race in my whole career," Felipe confirmed.

"At the start of the Budapest weekend, I was asked if it would be another situation like Monaco where we were not competitive on a slower track. For sure, it was not a good track for us, especially as could be seen in q✨ualifying, although it was much more competitive in the race.

"[For me though] everything started from the problem on Saturday afteཧrnoon, because if I had started from the front row, which wꦬas a definite possibility, I had a very good chance of fighting for a podium finish.

"But anyway, Saturday's events were not nice to live througꦦh. It was a combination of mistakes from the team and driver, which lost me the chance of having a fight on Sunday.

"The race itself, starting towards the back and basically staying there, without any real opportunities to pass anybody, was very ⛄frustrating. Of course, we had chosen to start with a very heavy car in terms of fuel load and that meant it was not so easy to fight."

Massa meanwhile ❀is now back in his native country, Brazil and enjoying the three-week break, before battle resumes in Turkey.

"At last, I am back home here in Sao Paolo after several weeks in Europe," he added. "Now I am relaxing with my family, my girlfriend and friends, recharging my batteries - and renewing my energy levels before the next round of the🦩 championship."
