One of motor racing's real characters, Tom Wheat♊croft, is to share memories of his time in Formula One during a special evening at the Donington Grand Prix Coll♛ection on 18 April.

Wheatcroft, who was both a team owner and princ𒀰ipal in F1 during the 1970s and backed drivers in a variety of other formula with his Wheatcroft Racing team, will also talk about his achievements in rebuilding the Donington Park circuit to Grand Prix standard and in setting up the Donington Collection - the biggest sing꧒le collection of GP cars in the world.

The evening event is the first in a series of 'Motoring Matters' evenings set up following the formation of the Collection's own motorsports club - REDliners - with 💙future speakers to include Brian Redman and Jochen Mass.

The club will enable all fans of F1 to have unrꦦivalled access to the Collection - and the cars, drivers and celebrities involved in the sport - while also enabling them to select from an exclusive and distinctive choice of regalia and accept invitations to F1 team testing se🍎ssions and factory tours. REDliner members will also get the chance to attend private track days with Wheatcroft himself.

Hot on the heels of the Motoring Matters evening with Tom Wheatcroft, REDl🐈iners has organised a visit to attend the first F1 tyre testing session in the UK, to be held at Silverstone on 26th April.

Attendance at either event is only available by pre-booking, with tickets to the Evening with Tom Wheatcroft costing just ?10, and ticket to the F1 testing session available for ?20 - including a gra✃ndstand seat and use of the Silverstone Racing Club for the day.
