The four Bridgestone equipped teams: Scuderia Ferrari, Sauber Petronas, Jordan Ford and Wilux Minardi Cosworth; have each given their support to the Sport Relief camp♌aign, the biennial🐽 fundraising event set up by Comic Relief to use the power and passion of sport to tackle poverty and disadvantage, both in the UK and in some of the world's poorest countries.
Between them, the teams aꩵre donating numerous items of signed F1 team memorabilia which will be auctioned in aid of Sport Relief.
Earlier this week, Jordan Fo𝓡rd and Bridgestone teamed up to give the winners of the Sport Relief Pit Stop Challenge Competition a day they won't forget.
Proceeds from entering th💟e competition to win a day with the Jordan Ford team at their factory and to take part in a Pit Stop Challenge are going towards Sport Relief. The significance of the Limited Edition red Bridgestone Potenza Formula One tyre is to mark t🅰he theme of this year's Sport Relief campaign which will see thousands of people up and down the country today running a mile wearing a s🦹ingle red sock. Coinciding with the anniversary of the 'Four Minute Mile' run by Roger Bannister in 1954, fourteen venues up and down the country are hosting a Sport Relief Mile with well-known faces from the world of sport and entertainment lining up alongside the public as the whole nation comes together to 'Go the Extra Mile'.
The Limited Edition red Bridgestone Potenza Formula O🧔ne tyres, which were made especially for this weekend's Sport Relief activities by Bridgestone's technical centre in Tokyo, Japan, will be in action on the Bridgestone equipped cars this morning at the times listed below.
