Williams-BMW driver Ralf Schumacher has been given the 'all clear' 📖to wear glasse♑s in 2002.

FIA spokesperson Francesco Longanesi told Reuters: "At preseಌnt there is nothing in the FIA rules that prevents a drivඣer from wearing spectacles when competing."

"What a medical officer can🐠 do is to advise a driver not to wear spectacles but he certa💙inly cannot impose it."

Ralf revealed last month that he w🌞ill wear glasses in 2002 in a bid to give him a 'clea🍌r' edge over his brother Michael Schumacher.

Ralf revea🌺led last month that he will wear glasses in 2002 in a bid to give him a 'clear' edge over his brother Michael Schumacher.

The German s༺aid: "My eyesight really is still fine but I tried driving with glasses last week and 🐭it seems to be much better."

He added: "The thing now is to try them in testing and get used to t🍸hem for the season. Hopeful🐻ly, the glasses can help me close the gap on Michael a little bit so I can win more races."

Ralf is expected to try - especially made - eye-glass🉐es later this month.
