More Malaysians to follow Yoong into F1?
European-Minardi driver Alex Yoong might not be the only Malaysian driver in 𒉰F1 in 2002 if Malaysian sports minister Datuk Hishamuddin Hussein gets h🐲is way.
In an article published in the New Straits Times he admitted that he alꦉso hopes to get Fairuz Fauzy a testing contract for 2002.
He said: "If Fairuz is as good a💟s I hear he is, then maybe he deserves to test with Minardi next year."
"Now that Aജlex (Yoong) is with the team, I think I should start to help Fairuz pursue his career as well. I think I should try to help Fairuz, and also Saladin next year."

Fauzy has beeꦬn linked to not only a Minardi test role but also one at Arrows. Fu꧒rthermore both teams might consider the Malaysian should he bring a big enough monetary incentive.
