Former F1 star David Coulthard was treated to a ride in Elfyn Evan💃's Ford Fiesta RS🍌 World Rally Car on the streets of Monaco ahead of this season's WRC opening round.

The ex-Williams, McLaren and Red Bull driver was astounded at how quickly Evans could take the Monaco roads despite having raced 🎉around the same streets during his career.

"I went into the car with the belief that rally drivers are the best in the world," Coulthard said. "I've been driven around a fꦜorest stage before, but to do it on Tarmac aroun༺d corners I know was just incredible."

"Elf🧸yn [Evans] was super smooth and committed - contending with constant changes of grip from dry to wet Tarmac - and he did it with much more s🦋peed than I thought possible. He's a great young talent and I wish him a great start to the championship."

Coulthard, who has two Monaco Grand Prix victories to his nam🐟e, was joined by🅘 MotoGP rookie Eugene Laverty and Welsh songstress Elin Fflur who all got a go in the co-driver's seat of Evan's rally car.
