2010 F1 newcomer Virgin Racing has had to ceas🔯e testing today at Jerez in Spain after a problem with a front wing.

Timo Glock completed just 11 lap𒐪s before he lost his wing and waཧs forced to return to the pits. Due to a lack of spare parts the squad will now have to sit out the remainder of the day.

"This morning we experienced a front wing mounting problem which caused the wing to c🐼ome off the car at the beginning of a run," confirmed Virgin Racing technical director, Nick Wirth. "The cause has already been identified.

"Unfortunately, we're missing one or two spare parts which will hopefully arrive this evening, so wওe won't be able to run for the rest of the꧑ day."

Despite having to curtail running prematurely though, Wirth remained upbeat: "In the short amoun📖t of running that we've achieved♑ so far, we are very encouraged by what we've seen," he continued.

"We have gathered some vital aero data which is very much in the range of what we were predicting. We look ꧒forward ಌto resuming the programme tomorrow morning."
