As a result, 15-year old Axel Cruysberghs, crowned as European skateboard champion just two weeks ago despite sporting a broken wrist, found himself tearing down the slope towards the 𒈔support pits, reaching 26mph in the process. In all, the youngster made two runs, attracting a crowd early on Friday evening.
