F1 Canadian Grand Prix: Red Bull were bizarrely left waiting to enter garage by routine police sniffer dog search

Max Verstappen raced to victory in෴ Montreal ahead of Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz and Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton, although hiꦅs teammate Sergio Perez failed to finish꧃ amid reliability issues.
But after the cham🍒pagne was popped on the podium, Red Bull employꦕees found themselves lingering around and unable to enter their garage to pack up.
Ted Kravitz reported for Sky Sports: “The team were not allowed back into the ga🎃rage after the podium because there was a sniffer dog and a policeman in there!”
He asked ℱemployees: “Are they still here? No, they are not.
“Did you see the sniffer dog and the policeman?
“You couldn’t go bꦜack into the garage. 🐠It was weird.”
Kꦫravitz joked: “Was the sniffer dog looking for cans o✤f Red Bull? Did he find any?
“Canadian sniffer dogs can obviously find explosives, drugs and sickly sweet fizzy drinks with lots of sugar and caffeine! Canadian s🍸niffer dogs are 🔜clearly very talented.”

The routine check quickly passed and Christian Horner's team were able to begin packing their belongings ahead of a two-w𒆙eek break before the F1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone.
Police checks to ensure 𝓰safety in F1 paddocks are not unusual.
But Kravitz did say: “It was a strange time for C🐭anadian police to come round with a sniffer dog.
“They could look for whatever it w👍as in Sergio ꧂Perez’s gear box that went kaput!”

Team princip🧜al Horner admit♔ted they lost contact with Verstappen as he charged towards victory while fighting off Sainz.
