Team BMW's Colin Turkington has kept his hopes of winning a fifth British Touring Car Championshi🍷p title alive after dominating the final race of the day at Donington Park.

From what could have been a day of despair following his race two spin, Turkington was picked to start race three from pole position in the reverse grid draw and took fullꦫ advantage by taking a comfortable win ahead of Jake Hill to claw back someꦏ ground on runaway points leader Ash Sutton.

Not even a brief safety car💙 phase could rein Turkington in with the BMW 330i M Sport driver setting a string of fastest laps as he marched away from the chasing pack, led by Team Dynamics Honda man Dan Rowbottom for much of the race.

Turkington eventually crossed the line with a winning margin over four-seconds to secure a milestone 60th career ဣBTCC win and move to within 32-points of champi🍰onship leader Sutton.

Once Hill dཧispatched the Civic Type-R of Rowbottom, the MB Motorsport driver held of Laser Tools Racing Infinit of Aiden Moffat to clinch second place and remains in championship contention in fourth, 45-points back from Sutton.

Moffat took an impressive route to the podium after movi🍨ng ahead of the battling duo Josh Cook and Dan Rowbottom in one pounce on lap 11.

Toyota Gazoo Racing UK's Rory B💎utcher consolidated a strong afternoon with fourth position in race three, ahead of Cook and Rowbottom, while Dan Lloyd held off Sutton for seventh.

Stephen Jelley and Tom Ingram completed the remainder of the top-t🌸en places in ninth and tenth.
