Despite narro𓆏w💯ly missing out on a place in this year’s Bennetts British Superbike Showdown, Lee Jackson did manage to take home the Riders’ Cup.

Jackson had by far his best season to d🐲ate in BSB after claiming 27 points s🐷coring results from 33 races.

But while Jackson also secured his second consecutive top ten championship finish, the Kawasaki rider claimed just one podium - as was the case in 2020. ♒;

Hence it𝓀’s no surprise that Jackson is aiming for a career year in 2022 after deciding to remain with the FS-3 outfit alongside 2021 rookie Rory Skinne🔜r.

Aiding Jackson in his hope to become a more consistent podium challenger will be the increased upgrades to t🍰his year’s brand new Kawasaki ZX10-RR machine.

"I feel that we had a good year and𝕴 we worked hard to get strong results, but we just missed out on the Showdown," said Jackson.

"After missing that, the Riders’ Cup was the goal, but it was nice ♏to stand on the podium at the end of the year.

"There is no doubt abo𝄹ut it, that next year my aim is to be in the Showdown. 🐈I will be working to do everything I can to make that happen.

💦"It will be my second year on the new bike and I know we have learnt a lot and have been fast at all of the tracks. We will have some upgrades so we can hit the ground running next year.
