After the ‘roller-coaster’ experience of Oul🎶ton Park, ex-MotoGP rider Scott Redding is relishing the opportunity to get back to something more familiar as the Bennetts British Superbike Championship resumes with round three at Donington Park.

A circuit that will forever be etched in Redding’s memory, the venue played host to his h꧅istoric maiden GP win in the 125GP class back in 2008.

At the time Redding became♌ GP racing’s youngest-ever winner at 15 years and 170 days old, a record that stood until 2018 when Can Onc♉u surpassed it with his Valencia Grand Prix success aged 55 days younger.

Though Redding hasn’t competed at Donington Park since 2009 when MotoGP switched to Silver🃏stone, he is confident🥂 the memories of that day will return when he tackles it this weekend on the Be Wiser Ducati.

“Oulton Park was an eye-opener for me, but I came away having really enjoyed myself and we got a couple of dℱecent results.

“I have great memories of Donington Park as it wasn’t all that long ago we raced GPs here, but it’s still going to pr♋ove a big challenge, especially on the shorter track. I did a track day a few weeks ago on a road bike and I think we have lots of potential here so I’m feeling ꦿgood.”

Redding has enjoyed a solid start to his Superbike career, scoring a podium at Silverstone on his debut and a pair of top five finishes at Oulton 𝓀Park. He is sixth in the standings, 24 points off the top spot.
