Kennaugh joined Virgin Media Optoma Loans Yamaha for round 4 at Oulton Park at the beginning of May. During his short spell with the team, he collected four point scoring finishes in his last five races on board the ꦏVirgin Yamaha.

Rob McElnea said, "We feel that the jump straight into the fiercely competitive British Superbike Championship, and missing out on all the pre season testing, has bee🤪n negative towards Hudson's season. We have all agreed that for Hudson to return to the Superstock series having only dropped 20-points to Glen Richards is a sensible decision. Hopefully after Hudson has won the series, or at the end of the sea♓son, we can plan for more testing time on the bike. We wish Hudson all the best for the remainder of the season."

Kennaugh will return to Lancashire-based Raceways Yamaha, where he is still third in the champ🗹ionship and 54 points behind leader Gle💧n Richards. His focus will now be on winning the Metzeler National Superstock Championship.

Virgin are y💧et to announce a replacement for Kennaugh.
