Farmer celebrates maiden podium success

Keith Farmer is h൩oping his maiden British Superbike Championship 🦩podium won't be his last after breaking his duck at Brands Hatch.
The former National Superstock 1000 champion made his BSB debut with the title-winning Rapid Solicitors Kawasaki team, scoring a best finish of꧃ fourth place in his maiden campaign.
A switch to the privateer PR Racing team over the winter has seen Farm🐽er produce some encouraging speed, though his best result of the year coming into the BSB weekend was just 14th. and after a DNF in race one, he only started race two in 21st.
Despite this, tricky wet-to-dry cond🌟itions saw Farmer make impressive gains through the field, following eventual race winner Josh W🥂aters and battling with Richard Cooper to post an impressive third place finish, much to his delight.
"After a frustrating weekend 🀅with no rear grip, it feels great to have my first podium in BSB. After a poor qualifꦉying session and a retirement in race one, we decided to change the swing arm for race two, which cured the issue.
"After the last few rounds a P3 finish is a great pick me up and I am looking forward to be back out at Thruxton." On the weather conditions he added. "I like racing☂ in the wet, but the conditions in race 2 were wet and d🦩ry.
"I settled into the race and saw Josh making a few moves and he stayed on so I thought we could have a go too." He concluded. " I am happy as it is my fiꦰrst podium and hopefully we can have a few more this season."
