Brookes 'fired up' for Suzuka 8-Hour showdown

Josh Brookes says he is 'fired up' for this weekend's Suzuka 8-Hour race in Japan after thಌe Australian rider earned his maiden MCE British Superbike victory of t🐽he season at Brands Hatch.

Brookes will ride for Yoshimura Factory Racing Suzuki, four-time winners of the legendary race an🧸d the only team to have competed at every Suzuka 8-Hour race since t🎉he event was first staged in 1978.

He will be joined in the team by Suzuki MotoGP test rider Nobuatsu Ao𒈔ki and All Japan Superbike rider Tﷺakuya Tsuda.

"After getting my first BSB race win of the season at Brands Hatch last weekend with the Tyco Suzuki guys, I'm really fired-up and looking forward to racing at Suzuka this coming꧙ weekend," said Brookes.

"The test at Suzuka a fortnight ago gave me▨ a good insight to what we need to achieve with the Yoshimura Suzuki team if🎃 we are to be in with a chance of a podium.

"It's a prestigious event and an honour to be representing Suzuki and Yoshimura, so hopefully I can bring home some🐟 great memories and also some silverware."

Suzuki fields its strongest line-up ever at the evꦦent, with reigning En🌳durance World champions SERT including Vincent Philippe, Anthony Delhalle and Julien Da Costa.

However, Yukio Kagayama's Team Kagayama Suzuki team is making the biggest headlines with 1993 500c♌c Grand Prix world champion Kevin Schwantz, WSBK legend Noriyuki Haga and Kagayama himself bidding for a famous win.
