MSS Kawasaki re-sign Mason

MSS Colchester Kawasaki has confirmed its rider line-up for the 2011 British Superbike Champion༒ship with the re-signing of Gary Mason alongside Stuart Easton.
The 31-year-old joined the team last season as a reward for his giant-killing performances on the BSB Cup-specification Quay Garage Hond🌞a in 2009, but he stru🗹ggled for consistent form on the ZX-10R.
Ending the season 12th overall and with a best finish of seventh, while Mason freely admꦅits the decision to be re-sig🌱ned will raise eyebrows, he is certain he will yield better results in 2011.
Indeedಞ, wi﷽th the new Kawasaki ZX-10R at his disposal, Mason is looking forward to getting his new season underway.
"In my head it was always going to be a two year project but we didn't kno🧜w we were going to have such a poor year in terms of results, which may make people question the decision to carry on," he said. "However when everything clicked I was running good laps, especially in practice but often lost so much time in final qualifying.
"What I lacked was consistency and that meant I never got on a roll. But it's easy to make excuses, this is a massive year for me, I have a mega new bike, great squad and a top team mate so it's down to me. I'm proud Nick is sticking by me and he knows I can do so much be🗹tter. I can't wait to get out on the new bike and start making it my ow▨n, bring it on!"
With Easton also returning, havi꧙ng competed for the team in 2008, MSS Colchester team manager Nick Morgan is satisfied that Mason will produce better results this year.
"To have four riders [Howie Mainwaring and Danny Buchan in Superstock] we've worked with before is so⛄ important to me and the technicians. Gary's better than the results showed last year and he waᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚnts this second opportunity.
"Stuart n🐻eeds no introduc🌠tion and he's already had miles under his belt on the new Ninja World Superbike which will be valuable to us."
