Zhou Guanyu&ꩵnbsp;will continue to race in F1 with Sauber, his third season with the team.

Zhou Guanyu F1 career (2022 - Present)

After a difficult to start to his F1 career, Zhou quickly found his feat, s🐭coring his first points at the Canadian Grand Prix.

While he was unable to assist Alfa Romeo's push for P6 in the championship too much - as his form coincided with꧒ their downturn - he proved to be a solid, reliable driver, out-qualifying and out-racing his more experienced teammate on several occasions.

2023 pr༒oved to be♑ a more difficult year for Zhou and Alfa Romeo, whose competitiveness took a backward step. 

He scored four points fewer than Bottas but proved a close enough match for his teammate over the course of the year to warrant being handed a 𒉰contract extension for 2024.

Zhou will finally get the chance to race at his home gran💝d prix in China this year after COVID led to the Shanghai event being cancelled four years on the trot.
